Forgiveness

Forgiveness is a gift from God. How is it that we expect God to forgive us all the time from our silly behavior and consistent disobedience and yet he continues to pardon our behavior and selfish acts. We are challenged as human beings to forgive people of such small offenses. I'm included in that category. I Thank God for his Grace and Mercy over my life that he continues to Love me and support me and Never turn his back on me. God is Love and if we walk with him we too must have love in our hearts and behavior. He forgave us first and now we must learn to model his nature. No it's not easy to be like him even though he made us in his image. We must go before him daily and ask for his assistance to help us process our own selfish thoughts and behavior. Jesus said" father forgive them because they know not what they do". Unforgiveness is bondage...chains and shackles on your spirit. Just because your mind is imprisoned, don't allow your spirit to pay the price for what God already did for mankind. He died so that we might be free. He paid the ultimate price.
